“The staffs are friendly. They will greet us once we enter or leave the lobby. There is a small cafe at the lobby which is really convenient if you need coffee desperately in the morning. The location is quite good cos it's close to a bus stop though we need to climb up a slope to reach to the hotel. As we got the room at special price, we were staying at level 1 but it has no problem in terms of safety or whatsoever.”

“I was travelling with my elderly parents. Location tops! Staff really went out of the way even though they couldn't speak much English. Tried to reach out. Waved us off at our taxi when we left. Very warm, family type reception. My dad had a cut and they went looking for bandaids even after I said I had one. Tour agency based there got us a fantastic day trip to the Hakka Tulou which was less than 3 hours away (Yongding) at a good price. Chinese language but the guide was attentive to us foreigners :) Has everything you need. Cafes, bakeries, great restaurants, bank, convenience stores, xiamen university close by.”
