“Bed very comfy, also very large room and bathroom. Grand foyer and the hotel had lots of interesting items on show. Restaurant not open in the evening but we ate in the bar which was satisfactory, very bustling. However, the place was very cold - we had the heating on in the room but it went off during the night and so freezing in the morning.”

“Perfect location if you're on the way to Madrid and need a stopover. Really close to the highway! Very very friendly and English speaking young guy at the morning shift. Amazing value for money (20€ for 1 night)!Clean and spacious room.”

“This is a very clean and comfortable Hotel in an Ideal position. The village has many historical and interesting buildings etc. I first made a visit to this Hotel 4 years ago and wasn't impressed i have stayed here more than four times because its convenient but this time i not only paid 19 euros for at least a 40 euros stay but every thing was in place which wasn't on my first stay for 57 euros. Also Tembleque has for what ever reason become more vibrant and the prices have gone down. Go figure.”

“This was a stop for the night after a late flight from Madrid on the way to Granada. Just off the motorway in a small town, but a very clean and comfortable room and in a real Spanish country hotel. A bit of a challenge with language but this was easily overcome. We ate dinner with the locals in the courtyard.”

“The parking in back was secure which was nice - other reviewers mentioned this as well - which meant we didn't have to totally unpack the car. Internet was fast when you could get it. The town is very small and cute, we enjoyed exploring it for dinner.”
