“What a marvellous place ! A very old building (dates back centuries) given a new lease of life. Entirely renovated using ultra modern technology but carefully blended in with the old. The character of the old being enhanced by the modern without being overwhelmed by it. Everything, from the decor, to the furniture, ambiance music etc is tastefully done and to a very thoughtful and high standard. Situated in a quiet side street of of this beautiful rural town the hotel is ideally situtated for exploring around and about. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. You were genuinely made to feel welcome. I do not have a bad word to say about this hotel and thoroughly recommend it to all.”
