“Good location, a few minute's walking to the bus stop of Yellow Mountain. Food in the restaurant was good, too.”
“Great location just a short (10 minute) walk away from the bus station where you can catch the National Express buses to the cableways. Plenty of shops nearby to buy climbing supplies. Onsite restaurant had simple but tasty food. Beer needed to be bought separately from the onsite shop, but could be consumed in the restaurant. Rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. Staff did not speak much English but were friendly and helpful.”
“The hotel is close to the bus station, about 10 min walk. At the bus station you can buy a bus ticket to go to the cableway. You can buy a bus ticket to different tourist locations straight at a hotel. I lived on the 3-rd floor and had completely no bug problem.”
“The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us book the bus back to Shanghai and gave us advice on how to trek Mount Huangshan. Despite the poor state of this hotel, they also did their best to accommodate our requests. Also, the price is pretty good, but keep in mind that you literally pay for what you get. I would also note that the water pressure in the hotel rooms are fantastic, and if you want a truly exfoliating shower, you can definitely go here... but not for too long.”

“Very helpful staff - they showed us exactly what to do and where to go to climb the mountain (we spent two days doing this) - even gave us two maps with suggested itineraries for our two days walking, which really helped us to make sure we saw all the best sights and got the best spots for sunset and sunrise. Fairly basic, but comfortable and really good value for the price. Great pre-mountain breakfast as well!”
