“Coming here is like coming home to the couple running the place - well, you do 😊 I had most contact with Tomas who is amazing and so friendly! He speaks some English so we were able to talk and share a few laughs. He was also very helpful in finding place to put my bike, lent me some oil for the chain and offered a great breakfast. Very genuine and nice person who cares about the people who visit. I went here on my trip at Eurovelo 6 by the Rhen-river and the detour is definitely worth it! It's a little uphill but the ride down to Waldshut-Tiengen the day after was marvelous 😊”
“We got a balcony room in this quite little village. The hotel had a restaurant downstairs below it so food was close and easy to find. There was also large open fields around for our dog to run around. We also had our young kids with us and there was a playground set next to the hotel that they could play on. They included breakfast which was buffet style with meats, fruits, breads, juices, coffee and tea. The gentleman who checked us in was very, very kind and friendly. There was a common lounge room across the hall from us that had kitchen facilities and large tv. Our room had a smaller tv in it as well. We booked a room that had a private bathroom and it was very big. The place was also pet friendly, we have a large (120lb) dog that we brought with us.”

“The owner of the property, Thomas, was extremely nice. He tried to make us feel at home as much as possible. His English was not very fluent but good enough to communicate. The beds were clean and comfortable and the rooms had a homey feel to us. The breakfast was very tasty and in different varieties. Especially the dinner on their Saturday Chicken Night is extremely good - my high school aged daughter said the chicken was the best she had ever had! ”
