“Wonderful hotel overlooking the Loire. Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful staff and views of the Loire to the front and the Chateau to the back.”
“We always request a room with a view of the chateau as we find it absolutely delightful to look out at such a magnificent view. The room is always clean and tidy and very comfortable. The staff are always helpful and very kind. The restaurant is magnificent and the food excellent, as is the wine list. The hotel is very convenient for visiting a range of attractions - chateau's, the zoo (which is great and should be visited). Samur itself, is very pleasant and the chateau is fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to returning next year again.”

“Great location within walking distance of main town area. Parking was easy, just a bit tricky to initially find the entrance. The outdoor eating area was lovely and a great place to unwind. Rooms were spacious and rooms with a view of the river provided lots of interesting things to see. There was a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast was adequate with eggs, fruit and variety of breads / cheeses etc. The staff were particularly friendly and offered good advice on tourist attractions. The food at the attached restaurant was excellent but not for those on a budget. Service at the restaurant was outstanding.”
