“In house brewery was a great feature. Very good surroundings and comfortable bar/restaurant. Staff very helpful and pleasant. River running alongside hotel makes for pleasant walk.”

Adjacent to walking path on river with lots of wildlife to see. Close to the city, shopping and public transportation.”

“Huge room, super comfortable bed. Right next to the river and walking distance to Ulm town centre along the riverside path. We weren't bothered by any noise and anyway the bar shuts at midnight and it was silent after that. Room 16 is over the big cooling fans for the bar/kitchens but they turn off at night. It was a hot day and there is no air-conditioning but with windows open it was fine. Great food in a choice of restaurants inside/outdoor covered/outdoor beer garden. Wonderful beer brewed on-site. Good breakfast with a great coffee machine. Easy parking. Play area for children (giant wooden Pirate ship).”

“The property is on top of a very large and popular beer-hall. The flamkuch and beer is great and well priced and there was live music when we were staying over... which might be a problem for some visitors but it wasn't for us. The rooms are relatively soundproof. The rooms are HUGE and super comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The coffee machine gets special mention!! The property is right on the Donau river and has beautiful views of the river. It is really close to Ulm old town (even though its address is in Neu-Ulm) and there is a beautiful path all along the river where one can walk and take in the scenery. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again!”

“excellent small hotel which was a brewery at one time and right by the river side . the room was big and roomy and looked onto the street but i never heard any noise at night . everything in the room worked with a comfy bed and not shower and a good breakfast which was nice and quiet .the staff were helpful and friendly too .the restaurant gets very full on a night so i just walked over the bridge into ulm city which is only 5 minutes walk for me . the hotel also has a good car park .”

“Relaxed (and busy) pub/restaurant/hotel by the river with pleasant walk into the old town and free parking on site. (NB We arrived 2000 on a sunny day and got the last space in the car park but the staff told us there was another area nearby they had where we could park if a problem. The car park emptied out as the evening progressed as most people were just there for a meal and drink.) We were allowed to leave our car there the next day while visiting Ulm. Meal and beer was good - pleasant atmosphere and good meal/drinks service”

“Location on Danube River was great and within walking distance of historic Ulm. Bier Garten associated with Hotel was great. Room was large with also a large bathroom.”
