“Staff was really good organized and really helpful! The nearby restaurant are quite good and not more expensive as the restaurant in the Main Street! The room was small but you found all you need! Don’t forgot to ask for the adapter for charge your advise 😊”
“Get a room on the river side. Location is very close to train station. If you are not doing one of the longer mountain hikes and just the main part of Machu Picchu, you will done in about 4 hours total. So, if you head off at 6:00 (they serve breakfast starting at 4:00am), you will back by 10:00am. So don't check out in the am if you take the afternoon train out of town. It was nice to be able to take a shower and nap, and they us check out at 1 pm instead of noon, they also allow you to check out at 3pm for an additional 30 dollars. But you might be better off checking out and getting a 90 minute Inca massage down the street for about the same price.”
“Great location in Aguas Calientes and a perfect base for our Machu Picchu stay. Special mention to the guy who carried our bags from and to station and most helpful person during our stay. He doesn't work on the front desk but he should - he even helped out with a guide for Machu Picchu, Ronal who was excellent”
“The hotel is part of a chain and is similar in standard to Travelodge in the UK, very clean and tidy, good size rooms, buffet breakfast, etc. What sets it apart is the attitude of the staff, which is first class. They were always on hand to offer assistance and advice and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is located right next to the train station (the line runs right past the front door) and staff were waiting for the train to arrive to escort us to reception. The bus to Machu Picchu is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The village itself has a main square with a good selection of bars and restaurants but isn't as quaint as Ollantaytambo.”
“Location was good, nearby restaurants and the train station.”
“It was my birthday the day I checked out and the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a cake when I got back from my Machu Picchu hike.”
“The room and the vue from the balcony was awesome. Staff is great. Good hotel, well located.”
“Nice view with train station. Kids like watching trains moving. Spacious room compared other hotels in the area. Nice breakfast at the restaurent with view.”
“Nice bedding and breakfast. Kind staffs and view of trains or valley. Almost newest building in the area.”
