“Our third visit, Very good food, comfortable room and very handy for travelling North/South on A75 or East/West from Lyon to Bordeaux, with Vichy and beautiful countryside close by.”

“The hotel is situated not far from the centre of Vichy and in easy reach of the A75 so a good stop off point for a few hours if travelling to and from the South West of France and Spain. The food is excellent and service good ... although the night we were there there were not many customers in the restaurant. Breakfast also very good with local produce eg cheese, honey, yoghurt. The hotel has been tastefully upgraded - there are not many rooms and ours was very comfortable - but it is a pity the terrace at the rear has not been repaired in the last 12 months (this was our second recent visit) as the whole effect of the moat and chateau at its centre is spoiled.”
