“This morning I went to eat breakfast. There was a elderly man walking with two canes. Not a walker. The young lady that worked with the continental breakfast service approached him and asked if needed any assistance. He said yes. She got his cereal and placed it on the table. When he finished eating she asked again if he wanted anything else and she got it. She then went to the back. He proceeded to eat and then he got up to help himself. I looked at him and said "he know he can't carry that plate". A mother and her two daughters got up to assist him this time. Each time he tried to do something do himself someone would offer to help him. I sat in my chair and wonder to myself when I get old (lol) will we still have people/strangers that will offer to assist me.---Just thinking.”
