“the views are quite stunning!!! The location is without doubt magnificent! The food was very nice, but not too special that you would recommend the hotel for its food. we were first in the breakfast room, fully expecting freshly cooked food, but, alas that was not to be!!”

BUT that is the only negative thing, everything is a wonderful experience and the art throughout the whole hotel is thought-provoking and Scottish. If you venture out at night you will see stars, real ones with no city light pollution. The crinan canal is a marvelous sight.”

“Beautifully located at the end of a small road leading to the loch, and next to a watergate and little Crinan canal. The Crinan Seafood Bar is Michelin rated for their wonderful seafood dishes and whiskeys. Seafood stew (with cream) was an enchanting surprise (with excellent piping hot french fries). Good wines. The hotel restaurant is excellent and a less cosy. Big collection of whiskeys at the bar. Very nice people. Large bed, large room with balcony overlooking the loch and the watergate of Crinan canal. Walks along the canal, boat rides on loch.”
