“Friendly and helpful owner. There was a bath in our room. Breakfast had a good range of different things. Cosy small place.”

“It was a family run place, we had to leave at 4.30 in the morning for a hike after a early checkout. The host was kind enough to provide us with a self made breakfast at that time. Pretty good burgers and cheap beers at the bar given its a small town. I even got a call when I had forgot some stuff in the room which I picked up later. If you're planning to do a wadlopen, this is the best place to stay given it's just 5 mins to the ferry terminal.”

“A perfect starting point for wadlopen (mudflat Walking). The staff is helpful and flexible. They will help to fix you rides to the starting point of your wadlopen and give tips where you can leave your luggage during wadlopen. We were able to leave our luggage to the restaurant on the beach while we stayed a night at the island of Ameland after our wadlopen.”
