“Beautiful renovated traditional estate. Very friendly staff and thoughtful of our two dogs. Seriously good restaurant but some surprising glitches: the main fish courses were a little less than fresh ( right after a bank holiday???) Cheese course was preselected rather than by choice and the sampling desert tasted good but looked rather messy. Nice surroundings to walk our dogs and tranquille but still close and convenient for the motorway. We definitely will return on our 4 times/ year journeys between UK and Portugal.”
