“If we would have paid twice the price for our stay, it still would have been a great value for money. Now it was almost a ridiculously good price! Everything is clean, huge room with modern facilities. The breakfast is not superb but of a high class.”

“Das Personal war freundlich und sehr bemüht, die Lage ist natürlich 1A (nur ca 25m v. ehemaliger Demarkationslinie entfernt, ehemaliger "Todesstreifen von dort aus leicht erreich- und begehbar), Frühstück war lecker und alles wurde bis zur nahezu letzten Minute nachgereicht.... Das Haus selbst lebt in seiner Historie und strahlt ein ganz anderes Gefühl ab als diese modernen Neubauten, sehr schöne grosse Zimmer, mit Balkon in unserem Fall, grosse Flure und Türen, wohl der Vergangenheit als Lungensanatorium geschuldet.”

“Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer herrlichen Lage mitten im Wald. Mehr Ruhe kann man nicht haben. Wer Wanderungen im Südharz unternehmen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und angenehm ausgestattet. Der Blick auf den Wald ist einmalig. Es gibt viel Spielfäche für Kinder und eine große Sonnenterrasse. Das Frühstück ist .... OK.”
