- Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. Meal trays can be ordered by phone before arrival until Sunday lunch.<br><br>To access to the Medoc region, you must take a ferry boat and it takes approximately 15 minutes. The ferry timings have to be checked in advance.

“A very warm welcome from the owner. Ideal place to stay on the way to Bordeaux. It's like a motel with a block of single storey rooms and parking right outside.”

“The meal in the restaurant was very good. The set menu for €16 was particularly good value. I had warm camembert and salad (lettuce and plenty of tomato), a beautifully well cooked duck leg with chips and lettuce followed by a local pastry dessert. My husband's choice was entrecôte steak cooked exactly as he likes with mushroom sauce and chips followed by profiteroles, which cost €23.50. The wine list included a lovely sweet white wine, something we don't very often find! The chef was particularly helpful as he spoke better English than our French. When we discovered that our adapters did not fit because they have sockets with an earth pin in parts of France (we had used them in others parts of France, Spain and the Netherlands without a problem), the chef took me to an electrical shop nearby, explained the problem and then directed me to the shop recommended which was fortunately not too far away! The staff were very helpful and spoke some English.”
