“Excellent location. Calm atmosphere. No old hotel odor. Big quantity of Japanese breakfast room service.”
“Small hotel, located in a quiet side street next to Meiji University. All guests seem to be retired Japanese, i don't recall seeing any guest younger than 70. Interior was solid, well-preserved furniture from the sixties which reminded me of my grandparent's house. Internet was quite fast, probably because most guests didn't use it. Windows could be opened.”

“The retro style mixing Japanese and old time European decor. Fair size of guest room, and the unique tatami floor, which smelled especilly good before falling asleep and on waking up in the morning. The bed was super comfortable. The nostalgic feel which began with the heavy door key, which should be deposited with the front on going out. The breakfast was notable for the graceful service and high quality food, either Japanese or Western.”

“お部屋には一輪のバラの花が待っていました。心が和みます。質素ですが古い家具の数々が落ち着いた調和をなしていました。その静かな佇まいが私は大好きでした。周りには古本屋が並び郵便局も近くにあったので外国に住む私は船便でたくさん本を送ることができました。小さな郵便局でしたがかかりの方がとっても親切でした。朝食の和食、天ぷらのディナー、ルームサービスのお重もすてきでした。古き良き日本を代表する一流のホテルです。これからの東京の定宿になるでしょう。”
