“We were greeted by Louisa who was very helpful and after a couple of attempts, managed to resolve a problem with the heating in our room. The owner was very apologetic about the inconvenience and gave us complimentary drinks before our meal - a nice touch which was very much appreciated after a long drive! Good evening meal and dog walking in the grounds.”

It is extremely quiet and peaceful and a perfect place to stay with dogs as the walks around the Chateau, in its grounds and woodland, were totally secure and, at night, gated from the main road.”

Our room was (we believe) part of the converted stables so not in the main house but was very comfortable. Dinner outside in the garden courtyard was excellent. Would definitely visit again.”
