“Madame Roux is the consummate and indefatigable hostess. Her hotel is quintesentally, authentically French with beautiful grounds for strolls and antique furniture and comfortable beds and linens. The breakfast and chef-prepared dinners are delicious and reasonably priced and served in the historic wood panelled dining room dating back centuries or on the covered terrace outdoors. We stayed an extra day to appreciate this charming, relaxing and sophisticated hotel stay with day trips around the Dordogne. I was happy to be greeted by Madame Roux again having been a guest here in 1999 and always remembered her since and was happy to find that time only made it a better experience. GROS BISOUS.”

“Belle demeure du 12e, grandes chambres bien équipées, meublées à l'ancienne, avec beaucoup de charme. Bonne literie et chambre / salle de bain très propres. L'endroit est très campagnard, très calme, et il y a un bon restaurant, dont tous les plats sont faits avec des produits frais. Bon petit déjeuner. Le salon est confortable. L'hôtesse est particulièrement aimable et accueillante.”

“Schlossartiges Gebäude eines Ritterordens auf dem Land. Erstklassige Umsorgung durch die Dame des Hauses. Swimming-Pool im Park. Historisches Ambiente. Bahnhof: Condat-le Lardin, dann 15 Min. zu Fuss. Richtung Montignac/Grotte 'Lascaux 4'sind es dann noch 8 km (kein öffentlicher Verkehr). Ich wurde vom Haus hingefahren und wieder abgeholt. Abendessen am Kaminfeuer. Ich empfehle, diese Landschaft mit einem eigenen Auto oder Mietwagen zu erkundigen.”
