“This was a stopover on the way home from a touring holiday and we wanted to stay near Chalons-en-Champagne - it proved to be a good choice. Run by a husband and wife team, Brigitte (speaks perfect English) couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating just what we needed after a long day driving. As we had a classic car the secure garaging influenced the decision to stay at the Hotel Bristol. The room and hotel generally were spotless, well appointed and kept to a high standard. The shower was particularly good as you didn't need to direct the double spray head until the water had reached your chosen temperature. Breakfast proved exceptional too, husband Daniel speaks no English but was no less friendly and accommodating - we left happy and replete and would definitely return.”
