“Hotel Cafe-Kempe was a good stop over on a drive through Germany to Denmark. It would also be a good place to stay when visiting Hamburg with the U-bahn close by and convenient for the airport. Hotel staff are happy to suggest places to eat and shop for food.”

“The best thing about this hotel is its location in the quiet suburb of Norderstedt, close to the airport (which is only 15 minutes easy drive away). If you have a car and have to catch an early flight (as I did), it's a less stressful option than staying in the centre of Hamburg. The on site restaurant only serves breakfast (which I can't comment on, as I left too early), but there is a good steakhouse and a Greek restaurant within less than 5 minutes stroll.”

“Ein schönes gepflegtes Hotel mit tollem Personal und Chef. Wir waren bereits das 5 mal im Hotel Kampe und kommen gerne wieder. Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichlich.”
“Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zum Garten hin im rechten, wohl dem älteren Gebäude. Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas älter. Eiche dunkel. Die Matratzen sind recht weich. Ein Springbrunnen im Garten der nachts nicht ausgeht ist für offene Fenster Schläfer nicht so schön. Das Licht im Bad hat gefühlte 25 Watt. Parkplätze gibt es reichlich. Insgesamt gesehen fand ich den Aufenthalt aber in Ordnung.”
