The hotel -- an unprepossessing building in the middle of a block of shops -- made it appear at first that we were going to be disappointed. In fact, the welcome was heartfelt and sincere, the room surprisingly very comfortable and the location convenient. Is this a luxury hotel or "charming countryside inn"? No, nor does it pretend to be. It is, however, a comfortable stop-over run by a charming couple who provide great value for money.”
