“The staffs are friendly. Easy to park just in front of hotel. The hotel has lift to carry the luggage’s to upstairs. The location is easy to walk to town and just right below the castle. Not too far to visit both.”

“The staff were very nice and willing to speak English with me which was appreciated. The dining room is beautiful. The breakfast was very yummy. The staff were also willing to move the radio sound to the other room of the breakfast area which was nice. Several other visitors also seemed to appreciate that as they chose the reduced radio room to eat in. If you appreciate peace and quiet, you will love this place. Everything looked super clean too. The walk into Alt Stadt is very short and you can take a different way each time to admire different views. The path up to the castle is pretty much at the back of the yard. The staff were kind enough to hold my bag and let me pay for my stay when I returned for my bag, because I was late to catch the steam train to Brocken. I thought this was very kind of them.”
