“Very good price for what is essentially 3 star hotel ($20 a night). The rooms were a good size with table, chairs and en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, a large buffet consisting of bread rolls, cheese, homemade jams, granola (with yoghurt), scrambled eggs, banana cake, bananas, juice and coffee & tea. The breakfast alone is probably worth about $5 (one small criticism, the coffee could have been a bit better). The staff were great and pleasant and the building is interesting with a roof top terrace that offers views of Chimborazo when the weather permits. Good location also, plenty of plazas and restaurants nearby. Bus terminal is walking distance away.”
