“We arrived early. The hostess recommended that we go to the restaurant. When the room was ready the hostess came to the restaurant and escorted us to the room.”

“The receptionist waited for us. We checked in around 7pm. Showed us to ur room. The place is enormous. The new accomodation is very comfortable, slippers, bathrobe, toiletries, bottled water, umbrellas for use (it was raining when we were there) Restaurant is cosy and the food good not too pricey. The view o fthe golf course is a plus. The breakfast is well tended, fruits, cereal, warm food, fresh orange juice (machine which is very handy) Good price for such accommodation. When you are on the way the north Denmark, Sweden or Norway or going south... this is a best stopover.”
“Although this guesthouse is primarily a golf resort hotel, we used it as a night stop on a trip up the 7 autobahn. We were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were attractive, big and so comfortable and clean! As a pretty new facility, everything was really well thought out. The loo separate from the bathroom was a great touch. The food in the restaurant was great and the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and inclusive. The main house and grounds are very attractive and have an interesting history. We'll definitely be stopping here again.”

“This place is excellent. All the staff we encountered were cheerful and helpful, the food was good, the bedroom oozed quality and was comfortable and quiet. The gardens and golf course beautifully landscaped and maintained, and lots of birds to watch. I am not a golfer, but all the guests were friendly. If you want a comfortable and restful stop near Hamburg, look no further. It is a bit of a drive into the country, but is worth it.”
“Location, room quality, breakfast, evening meal - excellent. One waitress, she happened to be an english speaking polish lady was also excellent. The rest of the restaurant staff were average or less. The check out guy was also good.”
