“This is a really good hotel in a beautifully restored historic local building, in a delightful village location, with attentive and friendly staff. If I believed in giving 'excellent' (which means there is no scope for any improvement, and is therefore demotivating and disincentivising) I would have done. If there was an extra category of 'outstanding' I would have given that warmly.”
