“We had booked 2 double rooms, and as we were a family, the owner upgraded one of the rooms to a suite with separate living room, sofas, large screen TV, all at no extra charge. Given that the hotel is also a butcher's shop, the meals were typically excellent German cuisine, with large portions. We were also served a complimentary course of Alsace Zwiebelkuchen at dinner, and a complimentary course of scrambled eggs and bacon with breakfast. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Beautiful quiet location in the deepest heart of the Black Forest.”

“I have used this hotel twice in a week, since it was great for a stop over (Elevator, private parking space. Good food. Wifi). Only 20 minutes from highway A5, nice traditional village. Since there is also a restaurant, checkin is possible also rather late in the evening.”
