“Breakfast was delicious, owner very nice and helpful. Located in very quiet area, perfect for relax and get away from the world :)”
“Very friendly staff. Quiet. Could hear the waves at night. Limitless bananas!”
“The hotel is so small and intimate it's lovely. A lot of people seem to use it as a base and then go out for the day, whereas we chilled and sat by the pool all day, only visited a couple of times by other guests. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble (including making us a meal at short notice as we arrived late evening). The terraces are a great size and you could spend the afternoon there if you wanted. Breakfast and dinner are lovely, lots of choice for breakfast, and they have a Nespresso machine so you are guaranteed a great coffee. overall a lovely place to chill or use as a base, definitely recommend.”
“It was the staff and food that were the stars at this hotel. Amazing Amazing Amazing. Complete and utter idyllic setting.”
“The staff was amazing, helpful and accommodating. The place was rural so very calm, quiet. Lots of stars. The location is very easy for accessing the entire island.”
“Hotel El Navio Rural is one of the jewels of the island of Tenerife! We cannot recommend this place highly enough! More than this, the family who own and run this beautiful hideaway are possibly the most hospitable, friendly, warm and professional people I've ever met, their entire staff are the same. Go there, you won't regret a moment of it!”
“We booked in for a peaceful weekend away from working in a nearby town, and it was fabulous! We wanted tranquility, a view and space to breathe all of which we had in abundance. The room was comfortable and spotless. The breakfasts were very varied and fresh. My husband likes walking and I like sitting quietly, so we both were very happy. There is a lovely swimming pool which we didn't use this visit. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second weekend with the hotel! We hope to visit regularly as it is so close to home but feels like miles away!”
“Proximity to the beach but not in the middle of a busy tourist spot”
“We loved this place. It's a different world than the coastal resorts, but it's not far away. It's in the middle of a banana plantation and all the rooms have large terraces that overlook the plantations and then the sea. You can walk through the plantations down to Alcala which is a nice walk. Room was very comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel on the second night and it was wonderful. The chef gives a very personal service and because several guests said they would like paella, even though it was not on the menu for that evening, she made one and it was excellent. We had a 3 course dinner with drinks for 20 euros per person which was great value.”
“Everything was perfect: the room, the surroundings, the personnel & the owners, very customers oriented, the view of the room to the ocean and the banana plantation and list could continue...”
