“Excellent rural hotel set in a small valley village amongst the mountains. Our rooms were large, clean and well appointed with all standard facilities. The bar was busy, serving decent cold beer to thirsty riders and our evening meal was from a good menu, plentiful and well cooked. Breakfast was more than sufficient and we were also provided with secure garage parking for our motorbikes overnight. Nothing to dislike.”
“The beds were comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and it was handy having the cafe bar attached as well as the restaurant. The room was spacious. The location was good although Arroyo Frio was quite small and quiet.”
“The hotel is very well placed on the main street in the village of Arroyo Frio for exploring Cazorla natural park which is absolutely stunning. The room was comfortable and very clean. Parking in the forecourt was possible at no extra charge. The staff were very helpful with information about the area although most leaflets are in Spanish only. (We were the only foreign guests). A little English is spoken at reception. The dining room had a good choice of cold buffet for breakfast and many choices for the evening meal including a menu del dia for 15 euro. There is also a cafe/bar basic breakfast. There are also many cafes / bars and restaurants on the main street if you wish to eat out. Very good value for the money.”
“The view from the room on the mountain, the quietness, good kitchen ( best trout of our trip)”
“Piping hot, high pressure shower bath, bidet and bathroom heater. Air con/heater in the room. Very comfortable beds.Free Parking, sat TV. Good wireless WiFi coverage. This hotel is ideally situated for exploring the area. Lots of cafe bars and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Lovely views of the mountains from our room. Log fire in the restaurant/bar. Good food with homemade dishes.”
