“As soon as I went into the Hotel I liked the warm friendly interesting layout - and once I saw the room I was even happier. It is spacious, comfortable and just nice to be in. It was warm and the bed comfortable. The person who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to the castle and Basilica and they provide a suggested walking map to see the town and what it has to offer. The hotel has free parking just outside on the street.”
“I would send the manager back to repeat hospitality 101. He was unfriendly and rude. While there was a functioning kitchen on the premises it was made clear that they don't want to cook for the guests.”

“The place was clean and had a decent bathroom. The garden in the back was nice and we enjoyed sitting there chatting with a couple of other guests in the evening. The younger staff person in the morning was really friendly and let us keep our bicycles and stuff in the garage while we did some sight-seeing. When we returned, he cheerfully let us back into the garage to retrieve our stuff and leave. Please know that this is an a la carte panzio. While there is air conditioning, you have to pay 6 Euros more to use it. If you want to put your bicycles in the garage, it costs 1 Euro per bike per night. Breakfast was also an extra cost. So, while this pricing system makes sense, you should realize this before you arrive. Also, costs are in Euros, not Forints, which is strange.”
“Owner of this Hotel is extremely kind and always open to help and assist. When I informed about my early check out and a long trip back to Poland it was offered to me a breakfast pack. Fresh breakfast set with delicious coffe and fresh orrange juice was ready in my fridgery evening before my check out. I am travelling arround the world and stay in many different hotels, but Hotel Szent Kristof is exceptional! I definitely recommend.”

“There is very little to like about the Szent Krostof. It's little more than a low quality backpackers, the only difference being that you dont have to share your room and with anyone else other than your partner. I am dumbfounded that Booking.com could rate this hotel 9.1. It is a dump. The bedding, linen and furniture are all low quality. It is close to the basilica but a long walk uphill from the town. I wouldn't ask my mother in law to stay here..”
