“Well, it's got free parking on narrow streets nearby. It's recently renovated, has decent beds and fairly big rooms, at least the top story. Very clean, too. If for some reason you want to or must stay in Santarem (in the evening, go see the Portas del Sol at least and have a beer in the wind and contemplate the past while looking over the river plains...skip the big church/museum and leave early), it would be a good choice. Nice people, too. Strange feeling to the place, but not in a bad way. Breakfast minimalistic, but I've had much worse and the bread was fresh.”
