“This hotel and restaurant are run, literally, by one man and he did everything with aplomb and good humour. Food was very good and plenty of it. Comfortable bad.”
“A beautiful and remote little village, high up above St Emenie in the Tarn Valley 6km away, the views were wonderful. Nothing there but a few gites and this motel with separate restaurant. The dinner was very good, but we thought the breakfast was overpriced for what you got.”
“The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. The hotel with only a few rooms is functional and clean without any character. The food in the restaurant was classic French country faire: hearty and VERY tasty.”
“Very friendly welcome. Delicious food at the restaurant and a good atmosphere. ”
“High above the Gorges du Tarn, in a remote, quiet location, this new hotel offers all the basic comforts, which one would find in an Ibis Budget, only a bit bigger and better. The restaurant opposite offers excellent breakfasts and a good choice of dinners and wines. It is a nice 4 km walk (AR) to a chapel from the 14th century across fairly flat ground. Magnificent views all around.”
“The food was very good with enormous portions of traditional French food. The village is very quiet and picturesque. There are many walks in the neighbourhood and it is a good centre for car travel around the beautiful Causse Mejean and further afield. The gorges of the Tarn and the less well-known Jonte are within a short (steep and twisty) drive. There is a farm museum and a show cave on the Causse and the Chaos de Nimes is well worth visiting.”
“2 star hotel with a 3+ star kitchen. Quality of breakfast and dinner was always excellent (actually the main reason why we returned to this hotel). Nothing to do in the villlage, but hotel is a 15 minute drive away from the gorges du tarn.”
“The personality of the owner made this stay unique. He cooked just for us, and was a genial host. The hotel is a simple affair, not fussy, and delivers. I will definitely come back.”
“Great hospitality nice small village. The breakfast was fabulous with local cheeses and big variety. Good place stay on your way to Sainte Enimie.”
“Simple, comfortable hotel Very friendly owner - he tolerated my bad french Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Huge serves of great food. Breakfast also good Very small town with a rural outlook. Nothing else much here”
