“From the minute we arrived, our two hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, despite one of them not being well. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact we had the very best vegetable tagine of our four week's journey around Morocco. At breakfast time, outside on their pretty terrace, our hosts wanted us to enjoy the meal and we did. The food and service was excellent. There was building work being done on the path to the waterfall whilst we were there. That was nothing to do with the hotel and out of their control and it didn't detract from the warmth and hospitality of Hotel Chellal. Parking is close by in the car park nearest to the hotel and the waterfall. (Don't park at the first ones when you arrive in town despite everyone waving and wanting you to use their particular one.) If you want a clean, basic, value for money place with friendly service close to the waterfall, Hotel Chellal fits the bill.”
