“Perfectly situated for the port and village. A good free lock up in the garage for our 2 bicycles, with masses of cycle paths round the whole island. Parking for the day is quite expensive, but worth it for the convenience.”

“Hotel of a very high standard. Staff super friendly, and very obliging. They were very good about access to the pedestrian zone. Location is first rate in the harbour area. Don't miss the herd of Poitou donkeys grazing just outside the town. The brasserie opposite did an exceptionally nice ray with capers for dinner for a very affordable price. The clothes shop next door had had a major fire the evening before we arrived, but the hotel staff were zen, just apologetic about the slight smell of burning. The hotel garage saves €5 per day against parking on the street. Hotel staff were quite honest about its drawbacks, see below:”
