It has obviously been recently renovated and the entire hotel was done very nicely, rooms and reception areas. The couple who own the hotel are delightful and very helpful. “This beautifully designed hotel boasts a luxurious feel and unique decor, deftly blending the gorgeous, old-world building (think exposed beams and rough limestone walls) with a combination of quirky, rustic and contemporary furnishings. Chantilly is a elegant town with plenty to see and is a very easy half-hour drive from Charles DeGaulle Airport. On the front end of your vacation, the hotel's location makes it a perfect place to decompress before heading into Paris after a long plane ride. On the back end, it's a great final night destination if you have an early flight and don't want to hassle with the morning rush-hour traffic out of Paris. The proprietor gave us a warm welcome, and we would definitely stay there again.”
