“Very comfortable and the staff were excellent, decent breakfast. Overnight street parking is free, but hard to find. Nearby Indigo Parking garage is very secure and around 13 euros a night.”
“Very friendly staff! Room was ok, clean and tidy but little bit old. Breakfast was ok.”
“The location was fabulous,in the heart of the old town ,very close to the Railtrain station and a walking distance to the river and main historical attractions :The room was big enough ,the bed was comfortable .The staff was friendly and helpful .”
“Value for money. Room comfortable.great location.good breakfast”
“I'd telephoned the hotel before our holiday to check where we could park and they'd confirmed the parking Republique which was very helpful as we parked up before going to the hotel - the hotel also gave us a discount on the parking. The hotel is in a very central location and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was generous. The whole deal was very good value and the next time we visit Metz we shall try to stay at Le Mondon again. Excellent value for a city trip.”
“Price and location. Just a stop on our way to park the car and take train to Paris.”
“Very polite and helpful staff (on all shifts). Basic but adequate room (clean) Central location (10 mins from the very centre) Ease of access (for a car)”
“Friendly staff, nice breakfast, big rooms and a nice bathroom.”
“Whole family was impressed by this hotel: beautiful cityscape from window, cosy room - well equipped. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect location close to city centre.”
“Centrally-located old style hotel overlooking a roundabout with a fountain. Despite its central location, my room wasn't noisy. Breakfast offered a decent amount of choice. Staff were pleasant. Because the en suite loo&shower were retro-fitted, my single room was somewhat cramped - but that's to be expected. A decent place for a stop-over (central Metz is very pleasant with several restaurants and bars) with excellent access to the A4 motorway.”
