“The staff were very welcoming, the food in the evening was excellent value, 3 courses for 21E. We had a balcony with river view as on our last visit and this is a pleasant view. Beware of the goose though roaming the grounds.”

“Eat in the restaurant even if you are not staying there. We have eaten there several times and had some of the best food in the whole of France. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is superb, right by the river well off the road but very near Perigueux. Prices are low so get the best rooms, with balcony, overlooking the river. A unique hotel full of character not a soulless concrete block.”
