“Set in a small village this Hotel is hard to rate, firstly, its is beautifully peaceful and the surrounding countryside is very pleasant. But, with it being so isolated, we thought it best to dine at the hotel the first night. The menu is a little limited, by that I mean it is limited to just two choices, have the one dish that is on the menu or don't. Having said that the food was outstanding, and there lies the rub, if you did not like the one choice of starter, main and desert, what would you eat, although in fairness they did prepare my wife, who has a nut allergy, a separate starter. Fortunately I thought the food was amazing so I can only rate it with 5 stars but a wider choice of options on the menu may suit others better. Sadly the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays so we were forced to drive some way to the nearest town on our second night and the only place we could find open on a Sunday was a local Pizza Place, not so good.”

“We visited La Bergerie for our fifth wedding anniversary and stayed for dinner and the night. Food and wine were delicious and it was a real treat. We had a room with a terrace which was gorgeous and in the summer you can enjoy lounging by the pool. Will be recommending this place to friends and family.”
