“Very nice staff, helpful. They say there is a top restaurant there but we were too tired to go down to eat. Be prepared our room was rather spartan but fine for one night. We were looking for a place in this area close to the Mulhouse Basel airport so this was fine. We like French places but if you are looking for a closer place to Basel. Switzerland you may feel it is too far but most locations in this area are not too far away because of major highways. Went to a pharmacy in the lovely little toen for help with a skin problem and, though I speak no good french at all, they were knowledgeable and very helpful . Went to St. Louis to a great bakery mentioned on many reviews.”

“The location is conveniently close to the Vitra Design Museum which was the purpose of our visit. The Beyeler Foundation is also nearby. We had a clean spacious room with comfortable beds. They offer a reasonable room rate so close to Basel where accommodations are rather expensive. Free on site parking is appreciated. The real high point was the excellent restaurant where we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast buffet was good as well. The owners (chef and his wife) are delightful. And we will return with pleasure next time we are in the area.”
