“The room was great, but even better was the service. The owners were very helpful and friendly, even driving us into town one day. Walking to town is feasible, but there is only a shoulder on the road and it is a pretty busy street. The town itself was great-very cute, but not a place for people who need constant entertainment. Meals at the B&B were fabulous! We definitely recommend making the most of that extra.”

“The most important things to say about this hotel are the friendly personalities and helpful attitudes of the owners, Annelies and Tom. Nothing is too much trouble, and they run the hotel as a labour of love. The presence of their two young children added to the happy family atmosphere. Thomas is a superb chef and we enjoyed four excellent dinners during our stay. The restaurant has earned a high reputation and is rightly popular with visitors staying in the area. The hotel on the outskirts of Le Bugue is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Dordogne region. This hotel is great value and we thoroughly recommend it.”
