“Room was very, very basic. Toilet so small you could hardly sit down. Don't like the booking system, staff more interested in their needs. A hotel who wants your money but does not provide value for money”
“We had a one night stop in Jonzac. Never been before. This was an old building in the centre of town with good private parking. The room was clean and quiet, facing the back of the property. You walk out of the hotel into the town, in the end we decided to eat in the hotel, Our simple dinner was great value and tasty and the local wine was very pleasant. We did not have breakfast as we were making an early start but it looked and smelt nice.”

“Good location in the centre near chateaux and all facilities. Private parking , locked for security at night . Hair dryer which was welcome , BBC world newson TV ( unusual and very welcome ) tea making facilities . Would stay again . We eat dinner there which was good and very reasonable at 19 euros for 2 courses .”
