We had a lobster and they served it just as we asked with plain butter instead of a sauce and a simple salad and bread. Seafood starter was exceptionally generous and very very fresh.”

“The breakfast is excellent and varied and so is dinner. We've stayed nearly every year for the past 14 years so are a bit prejudiced, I suppose, but it is an excellent place to stay. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. Malo-les-Bains is especially interesting at the moment because of the Dunkirk film - you find yourself walking down streets that were in the film - disguised of course. The new museum is very well done.”
