“Not a five star hotel but building with massive character, simple basic accommodation and food in restaurant was fine. Far more interesting than a chain hotel and well priced.”

“Staff were friendly. Nice restaurant for evening meal on site. Extremely large bedroom with good sized shower room off. Well kept and interesting location - building previously used as a seminary. Worth looking round the various public spaces within the hotel as they tell of a former age. Good value accommodation. Would definitely use again if travelling in area. Very convenient for the motorway.”
“I forgot to select twin room with ensuite. They gave a triple single room at no cost for my son to stay in. No Problems. Hotel excellent value for the money. Would make an excellent location for exploring the area. They supplied hot water for my english tea bags. Always smiling happy and friendly. Check out the main central staircase, lots to see. Lift worked fine. Excellent views from the rooms over the valley. 5 Mins walk into town, excellent local shop selling organic jams, excellent gifts and highly recommended. Check out the cathedral/ church, free admission.”

“Bed = comfy tea/coffee = non in the room, we only stayed one night so wasn't a problem from reading previous reviews we knew about this) shower/toilet = small but adequate and funtional Rooms = everything you need and spacious views = stunning Breakfast = continental and delicious croissants huge, there was a toaster so kids had toast and nutella building/location = amazing stunning would definitely go back and stay here, very good value for money and a perfect stop off before the rest of our journey to the south of france”
“Interesting building in great position. Price was good. Nothing was luxurious but it was completely adequate for our needs.(we were traveling with two dogs and two cats) Breakfast again completely adequate. Would certainly return.”
