“The evening restaurant was closed for refurbishment, but we were welcomed to use a table in the breakfast room for our own sumptuous picnic supper. The owners provided a crisp white linen tablecloth, cutlery, glasses and crockery. We had a fun evening dining on good bread, cheese, pates, wine and great pastries that we’d bought locally.”

“Excellent parking at the hotel, but it is about 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants in town. We walked in and took a cab back. Restaurants are a bit limited in the town and the hotel restaurant was closed, not sure if it was permanent or not ? We did not purchase the breakfast option, rather, found a nice bakery in town that made ham sandwiches and had fresh coffee in abundance. Rooms were a bit small but efficient. We visited Albert because of the excellent WW1 museum, nice cathedral, and proximity to peronne.”

“Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice to eat and drink, plus some extra special foodies like Raspberry Fool etc. Simply fantastic. Very comfortable bed and large TV with BB1 and BBC2. Staff was friendly and efficient. Plenty of car park space.”
“Very friendly, welcoming staff. Very attractively decorated and furnished. There is an additional, large bar-cum- sitting area for relaxation away from your room. I slept very well- it's a quiet area and the beds and bedding were both comfortable and relaxing. Although on the edge of Albert, it is within walking distance of the centre. Breakfast was generous with a wonderfully wide menu choice. At the moment, I am using a walking stick and, on arrival, was immediately offered a ground-floor room- greatly appreciated as there is no lift. It is a wonderful venue for anyone visiting The Somme battlefields. I have stayed here before and would stay again, without hesitation.”
“I was touring on a motorbike, the weather was awful for 2 days and the hotel sorted our very resaonable car hire for me AND took me to collect it. Great service. The breakfasts are fantastic”

“The room was comfortable enough and staff functional, we were on bikes and were able to leave them securely overnight in a conference room. The temperature in the room was too warm but we were given a fantastic large fan which did the trick!”
