“I was able to park our Ford Mondeo in a locked garage just behind the hotel. Otherwise the on street parking is 2 hours maximum which is not ideal. The staff were really helpful. Breakfast was very good value”

“Compiegne is quite a discovery and the Hotel de Flandre is an excellent base. The hotel is close to the railway station (frequent trains to Paris which is less than an hour away); parking right outside is free overnight but available in the hotel's secure car park for just 7 euros a day if you're staying longer. The hotel is comfortable and seems to have been recently refurbished. Nothing special but more than adequate. The adjoining restaurant good value with prompt service. We will definitely return for a longer stay to visit the magnificent Imperial Palace and parkland.”
