“(no bacon this is France after all !) the bread fresh and crusty; all-butter croissant delicious. The water from shower and wash hand basin was lovely and hot. Radiator in room was off when we arrived but came on very quickly once we'd opened it up. Great view and v close to loads of eating places.”

“We booked the hotel due to the proximity of the hotel to the start of the Semi-Marathon du Bois de Vincennes. The location is excellent for this purpose or visits to the castle. Many restaurants in the immediate neighborhood and street parking is available ( with a bit of luck). Staff is friendly too.”

“Very helpful, friendly staff. We didn't want to go to the center of Paris by car, so the gentleman at the reception helped us creatively with parking issue, for the time we wanted to leave the car nearby. No sustainable solution though. Good hotel for short sleepover.”
“The city of Vincennes already gave us a safe an nice feeling as the city is clean, nice and has a friendly atmosphere. After being received by the host and some small talk we went to our rooms by the staircase as there isn't a elevator. The hotel was tidy with a old look but not disturbing at all. The room itself was rather small but everything was there that we needed. The shower is clean and worked well and it was a comfortable bed. Too bad there wasn't a airco as it was 30°C that day and super hot that night even though there was a fan to cool off. Overal a very decent place for a correct price, would definitely recommend it.”

“The staff are very professional and discreet. The hotel has a lot of character, with a medieval theme and lots of nice decorative touches. There was a fantastic view of the castle from my window, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet, so I got an excellent night's sleep! The location is fantastic - right across the road from Vincennes castle, close to supermarkets and a lovely square, and a relatively short metro ride from Paris so it could potentially make a good base if you don't want to pay Paris hotel prices.”
