“The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful!! It was almost like a castle... What a nice little oasis in the middle of a crazy city! The owner was walking around when we checked in, so I knew he was not a hands-off owner: he actually cared about his guests and making sure their stay was pleasant. He found out that it was our anniversary, and he upgraded our room. He also sent flowers and a fruit basket the morning of our actual anniversary! The breakfast was very good. I hope they will switch to made-to-order eggs, but everything else (including the jams they put on the table and the complimentary teas they include) was very good!”
