“Lovely staff. Room as requested- upper floor and as quiet as they could manage when the hotel is at a busy intersection. We even had a balcony with a fair view. Coffee making in room and refrigerator n free wifi. Bonus of 2 computers in lobby for guest use too. Time limited but if no demand one could continue using them. There's a pool as well tho we didn't try it.”
“It was very Hawaiian in looks and decor it made me feel very comfortable”
“Right in the heart of Kailua Kona. This is a simple hotel room, nothing fancy. It is exceptionally clean. The breakfast vouchers which came at no additional charge were for an excellent restaurant right next door. Just expect to pay a $2 per person tip, so the breakfast was a deal, but not exactly free. Ask for a "garden room". We live in the country, so the sounds of traffic on the street side made for an unrestful night. They've always been able to accommodate us for that. We like that it's Hawaiian owned in a sea of corporate resorts.”
“Comfortable, clean room close to town, restaurants & the ocean. Most things were in walking distance or accessible by islands tours that picked you up from the hotel or nearby.”
“Location. Cleanliness. Staff. Grounds. Lobby. Quiet. Walkway to Ali'i Drive. Balcony. Bikes available. Ali'i Drive was closed off for a local market (3rd Sunday of month). Early we stopped at the Kealakekua weekly market. Ten years ago Kailua-Kona town had few tourists and was run down. It seemed like the tourist had been siphoned off by the resorts. Now it is teaming with locals and tourists. It was nice to see.”
“Good location. An easy walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Easy access to the Kona Trolley for shopping! We also used the Hop On, Hop Off bus on cruise ship day. It would have been great if this ran on other days too! The beds were extra comfy!”
“Wonderful Helpful Staff. Great place Great location.”
