“A gem of a property with amazing hospitality and attention to service. We booked at the very last minute and Michelle was incredibly gracious and accommodating at getting us into a room in the evening and allowing us to store our luggage for the full check-out day. She went above and beyond in helping us arrange custom transportation back to Quito that helped us get back to a family wedding in time. Everything was clean and the breakfast (additional cost) was so fresh and thoughtful - some of the best breakfast empanadas I've had.”

“Really friendly owners - helped me with my reservation for onward travel, suggested some food to be delivered and there is a lovely washing machine and dryer which can be used, which was very welcome. The bed was comfortable and we felt very at home. Really well-stocked with cooking equipment kitchen and fridge if needed. Really lovely place to stay after a long bus trip. I highly recommend and the owners are so welcoming. Really nice to know that the water from the taps is drinkable too! X”

“Thanks to Michelle there is nothing that we could have thought of that she had not already put her thoughts into. Starting with the nice Rooms with comfortable bed and Terrasse and warm water. The free to use wasching machine and dryer that was Most appreciated After the hike in the Jungle and rafting Tour. And of course the breakfast. I even got glutenfree coconut pancakes although I had only mentioned in a Brief conversation I had celiac disease. I cannot remember ever having a more thoughtful Host.”

“The owners, Michelle and Gary, were incredible hosts. They were so welcoming and always looking to offer help and advice. Upon my arrival, Michelle gave me labeled maps and many sheets with recommendations for restaurants, markets, ATMs, bus stations, things to do etc. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. Gary is a tour guide. I went rafting with him and it was a highlight of my trip.”

“Outstanding hosts who speak English, go the extra mile, are very friendly, caring, & helpful. Lovely custom-made wooden storage units & furniture. Lots of storage in room. Private patio off room. Good fan in room. Good coffee with breakfast. Free washer & dryer! Well-organized & equipped common kitchen with good dishes & cookware. Bright & clean. Gary's tour was awesome, and supports local & indigenous people. Gary also did everything possible to help us with a legal problem, and spent a lot of time and energy doing so.”
