“The proprty is unique in the world. The views are literally breath taking. You certainly have to pay for what you get. Don't try to get there by train as it is miles from the train station with no cab service. We got there by bus after the train, not our choice! After hauling bags uphill to the entrance, we felt like Ma and Paul Kettle, bedraggled and forlorn. After a wonderful 24 hours, we took a 15 minute cab to the train station that cost 45 Euros, yuck!”
“We actually stayed here for three days over a wedding weekend. The location & view from the room is absolutely amazing. All the staff were extremely helpful & couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was more the satisfying. It is lovely to stroll around after all the tourists have gone home - however in saying this the Hotel grounds are completely private. Loved the turn down service, the water by the bed & the chocolates on the pillows. Fantastic experience.”
