“Very nice room, good size, fabulous bed...the whitest bed linen we have ever experienced in a hotel! Breakfast was great, pastries were fantastic and food and drinks plentiful. Very happy to allow our 2 large dogs to join us in the room. Views across the lake were amazing and a good sized balcony with comfortable furniture to enable you to sit and enjoy the sun setting across the mountains. Close to a forest with good, albeit steep walks.”

“Brilliant location with fantastic views across the lake. Its a really quirky place but it works! Room had an interesting layout but was great. Staff were brilliant and were very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was very good, the taster menu was great, and the staff really made an effort to make the stay as good as it was. Annecy is only about 20 mins walk away but is well worth the effort, which you will expend coming back, as its all uphill to the hotel!”

“The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable I would recommend a lake view room. The lake is stunning. The views from the restaurant and the terrace are faultless. The restaurant food is exceptional - wonderful wine list and the best cheese board I've ever eaten from. The location is great, you can walk to the lake in 10 mins and the town in 15. There is a little bit of a hill but noting too strenuous. I really couldn't fault this hotel, just a few things to be aware of. The restaurant isn't open all the time and the breakfast is very simple french cuisine, croissants, baguettes, yogurts and coffee, no hot food offer.”
